Willkommen! Welcome!

The Hoosier Grove Museum is a one-room schoolhouse reflecting its days as the only school serving the mostly German American children in the region from kindergarten through eighth grade, in the Hanover Township, between 1900 and 1954. We are located two blocks east of Route 59 (Sutton Road). Open the schoolhouse door and see what life was like for country schoolchildren at the turn of the century. Museum services include group tours, permanent and changing interpretive programs, classes, and special events designed for all ages!
